The Sterridge valley offers a great destination for families and friends with an indoor heated swimming pool, hot tub, sauna and plenty of dog walking areas for your four-legged friends. Only 2 miles away from the little seaside village of Combe Martin that offers a sheltered cove to picnic on. Hire a kayak from here and see the beauty of the rugged coastline. Walking enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice with the South West Coast Path and Exmoor National Park nearby. Watermouth Bay is only 2 miles away and there are water activities including coasteering or paddleboarding. Or a family visit to Watermouth Theme Park which is set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Looking at trying out surfing head to Woolacombe (9 miles) with its 3 miles on a sandy beach.
As you step into this spacious cottage you will find two lovely bedrooms on the ground floor, one is a family bedroom with a double bed and twin beds and the other bedroom is a bunk bedroom. Also on this level is the family bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. The staircase leads you up into the large open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a vaulted ceiling and beautiful oak beams. Relax on the large comfortable sofas or catch a movie on the TV and DVD player. This is a great room to socialise with your family and friends and cook up one of your family recipes. The kitchen has everything you need including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and a microwave. There are a further two bedrooms on this floor one with a double bed and an en-suite shower room with WC and finally the second bunk bedroom.
Heading outside, is a cute courtyard with your own picnic table and charcoal BBQ or you can unwind at the end of the day on the spacious lawn area with outdoor seating which is shared with the other properties in the complex. Or you could head for the shared indoor heated swimming pool with sunken hot tub. Children can also play in an enclosed outdoor play area with swing basket, trampoline, baby swing and picnic benches, and there’s an indoor games barn with table tennis, pool table and table football. There are also 18 acres of gardens and paddocks to explore, making the site a real country retreat ideal for families, friends or couples alike. Guests are welcome to meet the resident donkeys and pony. Sheep and cows also graze the surrounding meadows of the farm.
