Cottage was beautifull. 2 Large rooms, utility room and well equipped kitchen. Very large outdoor space with a lovely hot tub. Bed was slightly hard for our liking, but all in all a great break away.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Wales. The location is stunning, with lovely views overlooking sheep fields perfect for a peaceful getaway and amazing for stargazing at night. The cottage itself was spotless, light, and spacious, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The huge beds were incredibly comfy, the Read morekitchen was very well equipped, and the cosy log fire made the living area feel so homely. The private hot tub was a real treat! We really appreciated the little touches, like the tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits on arrival, and the extra pillows provided. The additional toilet off the utility room was handy too. The water pressure in the shower was a little low, so we just allowed a bit of extra time but the water was lovely and hot. Liz, the host, was so friendly and welcoming. She came over to replace the batteries in the motorised pepper mill and kindly showed us around the other properties, as were already planning to return with more guests! Check-in was super easy with the lock box at the front door. Overall, a perfect stay peaceful, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details. Highly recommend! Hide

Lovely area (even in the rain). The cottage is very well equipped, but take all the food you need, it's a long way to a shop. It's a beautiful place which I would definitely recommend.

The barking noise from the 8 dogs in the barn aside our cottage on the farm was more than intrusive..I have to be honest and say it spoiled our holiday there. Farm noise we expect yes, but the often pack hysterical barking of the dogs was just unacceptable and inconsiderate to the paying guests. Admittedly, we left 2 days early because I was ilRead morel with Covid, but I must say, in the end, we were both glad to get away. We anticipated a week away in the peace and quiet, yet often my wife had to put the tv on just to mask the noise of the dogs. I think the owners should choose what is more important to them- their dogs or paying guests, as imo the two just dont mix. Whilst it is not in the control of the owners, I have to comment on the approach road...very narrow and a surface you wish you were travelling in a 4X4.! To travel out for the day you had no choice but to use this awful road and to some extent even disincentivised going out at all. Now...having got all the bad stuff out of the way, I would like to emphasise what a fabulous job they have made of creating this cottage! Beautifully sited with panoramic views across the valley. And the very best made of the view by having such perfectly placed glass doors. So much light inside the lounge area was wonderful. Kitchen and cooking facilities were superb. The bedrooms are very spacious and a delight with the patio doors making them light and airy, although personally i found the beds a bit hard (but appreciate this is subjective and varies so much across what people regard as a comfy bed) The facilities in the bathroom are also lovely (apart from the child sized toilet seats! ) and the shower fantastic. Im sorry if this review comes across negatively- but honest feedback is essential I feel. Im not one that would normally "pick" on small things and I rarely leave a bad comment at the very many cottages we have stayed at. Perhaps my opinions were exaggerated by my feeling so ill. Even so, I hope these views are helpful to future residents and even to the owners Hide
