Lovely cottage in beautiful location on working farm with friendly owners. The walk from the back gate is wonderful. The sound and sight of the lambs just outside is magical. The garden is very safe and practical for a dog. Would recommend the cottage for a great relaxing holiday.

The cottage is a lovely conversion: it retains some of the old stone but also has contemporary features - two wet rooms and a contemporary kitchen diner. The location is unbeatable: a public path through pasture is a few steps from the cottage, and you can watch sheep and lambs out the window. In the evenings we loved walking our dog through MorsonRead more Wood and on to the river. The cottage is small but the high roof helps. Not much fridge/freezer space, and weak showers, but we would still return. Hide

The cottage is lovely, footpaths right from the door. It's well equipped and comfortable. Lovely location on a farm with views of fields. Be aware that the gates to the garden have wide bars easy for small dogs to get through. Ours had to stay on a long line when outside.

We were delighted to find this gorgeous cottage. It was well equipped, very clean and comfortable with every facility you could need. It was set on a farm, and we met the owners on several occasions, who were lovely and were there if you needed them. Right outside the door are beautiful walks and you can go miles through woodland and the Dales. HarRead moretington is gorgeous too and a 2 minute walk from the cottage, has a couple of nice Pubs, a great Farm Shop and other handy shops. Perfect. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy cottage with lovely views of the hillside. Very peaceful and relaxing. Owners very helpful and friendly but not intrusive and provided fresh milk and eggs. Great walking area with walks directly from the cottage. Hartington village a 2min walk away. Good pubs serving food. Lovely tea rooms.

There was nothing wrong with the cottage in any way and it accommodated 2 small dogs, which is why we selected it as no others were available. However in comparison to other cottages within Harrington it was expensive and not by just a little. I understand that if it is able to get that price then it must be competetive. As I said though it would ,Read morefor me, be a last resort because of its price. Hide
