Fort William is within easy reach with its excellent leisure and shopping facilities, situated at the foot of the mighty Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. Enjoy many outdoor pursuits including skiing, snowboarding, hill walking, fishing, shooting, golf, water sports, mountain biking trails and the Jacobite steam train ride. Glencoe, Oban, Loch Ness, Isle of Skye, Cairngorms and Inverness are all easily accessible in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We stayed at the beautiful Shepherds cottage during our holiday to the Scottish highlands this August & we loved every minute of our time there. The cottage is immaculately clean & well equipped & is set in the most stunning location with views of Ben Nevis from the garden. Whilst there we went on the Jacobite steam train, climbed Ben Nevis & visitRead moreed Tobermory on the Isle of Mull. The cottages owners are very friendly & are close by if needed.Would definitely stay here again! Mrs Youngs Hide

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Host had lots of helpful advice to find what we were looking for. . Great base for climbing Ben Nevis, cycling along the canal and fishing.

Lovely cottage very comfortable with amazing views of Ben Nevis and the Nevis range with snow on the top. We were lucky to see a beautiful sunset on our first evening. The cottage is not far from Fort William which was our start point for climbing Ben Nevis. Lots of lovely beaches within an hours drive away, locks and waterfalls near by. At the endRead more of the day going back to the cottage was a delight. The owners were very welcoming and we loved the farm animals perfect thank you Diane and Deborah Hide

Fantastic location with many beautiful walks without needing the car!...The Cottage was everything we hoped, quaint & cosy especially the log burner when a storm blows through the valley. The owner was so helpful & welcoming would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone who enjoys scenery, nature, walking & peaceful surrounding to really relax.

The cottage was wonderful. Very light, airy and comfortable. It was lovely to see the sheep, chickens, ducks and geese up so close. The flowers and eggs were a lovely touch too. Amy was very welcoming and friendly but let us have our own space.
