Lovely cottage, so warm and cosy. Loved the style and dcor, arched windows, wonderful wooden beams. The enormous bed was super comfy. The kitchen very well equipped. The hosts were lovely. They left some milk and some fabulous Victoria Sponge cakes! Nice pub in the village (Kings Head) but they don't do food but there is an excellent chip shop. Spotlessly clean, really quality furnishings - curtains, bedding etc as well as furniture, everything very comfortable. Kitchen had absolutely everything we could have wanted but a bigger fridge with freezer would be welcome. Closeness to a busy road very noticeable when the patio doors were open but otherwise nothing to complain about.

We loved the Duck House. Perfect for 2 people. Good room sizes, a comfortable bed and well stocked kitchen. It is light and airy with good outside space and views over the fields. Its position on the outskirts of the village is perfect for access to shops and pubs. Plenty of interest in the local area. One of the best places that we have stayed.
