The village of Killinghall where this property is situated, is an attractive part of the world with stone cottages and two village pubs. To the south of the property and just over a 2 mile drive away, the historic town of Harrogate is well known for its spa and its excellent range of eateries, perhaps most notably the famous Bettys Tearooms. The surrounding area also has much to offer visitors who can enjoy walks in the picturesque Yorkshire Dales, visit historic sites such as Fountains Abbey and Ripley Castle, and spend a thrilling day at the theme park at nearby Lightwater Valley. For those who are happy to travel a little further afield, the cities of York and Leeds are each located at 23 and 18.5 miles respectively.
