The property is a lot more spacious than we were expecting because the main lounge and bathroom are external to the carriage although you dont go outside to get to them as the whole set up is under one big canopy. Everything is very tastefully done, particularly the interior decor of the carriage, the table and benches on the decking, and the plantRead moreing (flowers, shrubs and climbers) that has been used to embellish the whole structure. John the owner is very helpful and the site is spot on. Hide

What a clever idea, years of work to create this concept, genuine old showman s vans, beautifully restored and augmented with modern facilities, yet retaining the character of a bygone age. All in a delightful setting of gardens and ponds, within a quiet and peaceful farm disturbed only by the bird song and the distant sounds of the heritage steam Read morerailway in the valley and complimented by the nearby on-site shop and cafe. We enjoyed our stay despite initial problems with heating & plumbing. Difficult to contact owner as phone signal poor, but he came out to fix issues & was friendly. There was a promise of a gift, locally made cider, thats no longer available, but still mentioned in welcome info. The bedding was disappointing, flimsy duvet and no blankets so chilly,Read more &only 1 pillow per guest. A great shower & plenty of space for 2 with comfy seating in beautiful quiet location.
