There are many miles of scenic walks to be enjoyed direct from the property’s front door, with Bircher Common being just a short walk away, giving access to the 30-mile-long Mortimer Trail, which stretches from Ludlow to Kington. The town of Ludlow is itself, a wonderful place to explore, with its fine medieval ruined castle, interesting historic buildings, and its well-deserved reputation as a foodie favourite. Other attractions in the area include the 1000-year old Croft Castle, West Midlands Safari Park, and the towns of Hay-on-Wye, Leominster, and Tenbury Wells.

A ramp leads guests to the front door of this barn conversion property, which opens directly into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Here guests will find a comfortable sofa, and a dining table, alongside the TV/DVD which open outs into a sun room that can be used to enjoy the views year round. The kitchen area, running along one side of the room provides everything that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals, including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer. A short corridor leads guests past the cloakroom with WC, to the bedroom, a restful space with a super-king size bed which can be made up as a twin room on request. The en-suite wet room contains a shower and WC.

Outside, two steps from the sun room lead to the private decked terrace, which is accessed via the living area. The owners have provided garden furniture, making this a great place to relax and enjoy the pleasantly tranquil surroundings and views across the farm. There is off-road parking provided.

Lovely little cottage, very well equipped and extremely comfortable. The conservatory was a great place to sit, read and admire the views and it when the weather allowed there is a lovely balcony too. The owners were very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely property, clean, spacious and very well outfitted/furnished. Unfortunately WiFi advertised does not really work as it uses a dongle, which relies on mobile signal/4G, of which there is hardly any, so if you go be prepared for a disconnect!

Sumptuous is the only word for The Parlour: luxurious superking bed & the bedding was excellent. Gorgeous conservatory & balcony to while away the evening. Superbly stocked kitchen, homemade Welsh cakes on arrival, fresh milk, tea, sugar & coffee. All furnishings comfy, clean & thoughtfully picked out. Welcoming, friendly owners, but not intrusive.Read more I will definitely come back! Hide
