Nestled in an elevated private position enjoying magnificent valley views, on a large family run working farm. The immediate area is a paradise for walking, biking and hiking with the nearby Tinto Hill, Culter Fell and Crosscryne to explore. The picturesque Royal Burgh of Biggar is close at hand with its array of wonderful eateries, friendly country pubs and inns, art galleries and fascinating museums, award winning puppet theatre and bespoke quirky shops to enjoy. With the wonderful cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh within touring distance, with their fantastic leisure and shopping facilities. Or enjoy a trip to the New Lanark World Heritage Site a unique 18th century mill village and beautiful Dawyck Botanic Gardens.  For a special occasion why not pre-book a Virgin Balloon flight from near by Shieldhill, depending on the direction of wind the balloon travels across Biggar and the farm itself!

Heading through the enclosed garden onto the decked area, you are met with this delightful, stylish micro lodge. Perfect for a luxurious romantic glamping experience. Entering the property, you will find the comfortable sleeping area with a double bed to the rear of the pod, that is also partially screened off from the lounge, to enjoy the splendid views through the quirky window. The lounge area with wall mounted TV/DVD and USB points, is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the local area. There is a dining table with seating, ideal for a romantic evening meal. The bespoke beautiful kitchen area is well-equipped with two ring gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and Belfast sink. Finally completing the micro lodge is the spacious shower room with rainfall shower and WC.

Venturing outside onto the private decked area with hot tub. Ideal for relaxing and to enjoy the magnificent valley and countryside views towards Tinto Hill. This is also the perfect place for al fresco dining, with seating area and a gas BBQ to enjoy the stunning sunsets. You may also get the opportunity to spot the regular wildlife including deer, squirrels, barn owls, hares, rabbits and lots of garden birds. There is ample off-road parking available next to the property.

We have stayed in a few micro cabins and The Hideout (we stayed in The Stag) is a by far the best :-) Quiet, cozy, everything you need in the cabin is at hand. The Hideaway-Stag was absolutely amazing. Hosts were great, very informative. Pod was gorgeous inside and out. Everything that was needed was right there at your fingers tips. Everything spotless, neat and tidy. The walks were great (Only 20 min into Biggar itself too) and the weather was glorious too. Hot tub at the end of the walks to ease the acRead morehes and pains. The pod was located to take in the view which was lovely, overlooking the fields and woodland to mount Tinto in the background. The pod was clean and tidy, well laid out with every amenity. The hideout is just what we need as couples retreat, it was calm and peaceful. The facilities were oustanding and everything we needed was provided. The hot tub was a real treat and is incredibly relaxing. It is is within easy reach of many different attractions to explore and enjoy.

Cant recommend the Stag highly enough. My partner & I loved our stay here. From the cosiness of the lodge, to being able to pop outside into the hot tub & watch the sun set, it was brilliant. Amazing how quiet the surroundings were aswell. Will 100% be booking again in the near future

Great cabin nice and clean comfortable bed, great shower, location feels isolated whilst being close to amenities, would go back, hot tub was fab benefit from some kind of canopy for colder, wetter months.

Would definitely recommend the Hideout - Stag as a fab relaxing place to stay in a beautiful area. The facilities were excellent and we had everything we needed to holiday comfortably, as well cook a meal using the hob and microwave provided. The hot tub was a great addition and fab to use on an evening looking over the view.

The Stag micro cabin was beautiful. Very cosy, and comfortable. It was perfect for out little break away to relax. Has gorgeous views, and is very close to anything you would need, such as shops, restaurants ect. It has all you need, such as hobs, plates, cutlery, ect. Which is all very helpful. Overall, great location for a couple of days break. The owners couldnt of been more helpful. I would definitely come back in the near future and recommend to my family & friends. Very peaceful and relaxing when in the hot tub with the scenery & animals.

My boyfriend and I had a relaxing two night stay in this lodge. It was well equipped with everything you need for self catering. The bed was EXTREMELY comfortable and the hot tub made the experience all the more magical. We will definitely be back!!
