This is a wonderful property and perfect to get away from it all for some rest and relaxation. There is enough within the property to not have to leave it if that is what you are looking for. We will definitely return.

I would recommend staying here 100%. Sue and Dave are a lovely couple who can't do enough for you. The cottage is lovely and it's like home from home everything you need is there. Hot tub was fantastic and Sue checked it every day. Definitely going to go back again this year if it's available.

This gorgeous property is a perfect little gem and has everything you and your dog needs or could ever want. I loved its peaceful location and lovely views, yet within a very short space of time you are on the main road networks that head in every direction. Lovely cottage in a great location Sue the owner is lovely helped with directions showed us how everything worked and left us to enjoy our stay but was on hand if we needed anything. Just returned from spending our Christmas here & we cant recommend The Elliots enough! The hosts are so SO friendly & gave us a home away from home, we wish wed stayed until the New Year! Its in a great location with lots of beautiful walks close by & not too far from local shops & pubs. The cottage was amazing! Comfortable, stylish and cosy. The hot tub is great, bed is super comfy and its easy to access hiking routes and the Rivington Brewery. Owners are lovely and helpful! Definitely recommend the place.

We had a lovely stay at the Elliotts! The cottage was perfect in size, cleanliness and provisions, and Sue was a very welcoming host. The property is well located with many nearby walks and amenities (we especially enjoyed the brewery!). The hot tub was also a great addition to soak in after a day's walk. I would definitely recommend booking here.

What a wonderful 5 days at the Elliotts. Sue has to be the friendliest host I have ever encountered. The cottage is very close to the owners house and her children live either side too. So if you are anti social, it may not suit you. However after the fabulous welcome from Sue, you arent disturbed and I found it reassuring knowing there was a lovelRead morey family within reach. Sue has provided every utensil and there is also an ironing board, iron and hairdryer for guests. Very relaxing stay. Hide

Sue greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us around she made us feel right at home!! She was brilliant from start to finish the grounds and views were lovely and the accommodation was fantastic! Lovely cottage in a great location. Host was very welcoming and was on hand if we needed anything. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Only downside (and a personal preference) is the lack of privacy. The owners home and other family homes are right on the doorstop. This cottage is in a stunning location and is very peaceful and comfortable. We were made welcome, were able to park close to the cottage and had everything we needed. The cottage was warm and the log fire was a bonus, adding a cosy dimension. Theres quite a few things to do nearby and loads of information in the cottage.

Absolutely amazing place and accommodation. Lovely little welcome pack on arrival and sue was lovely. Lovely little area to go for walks and a beautiful brewery pub 15 minute walk away. Would defo want to book up again and it was be highly reccomended

Absolutely fantastic weekend! Made to feel very welcome and will definitely be returning! Everything that you could need is there and welcome pack was completely unexpected! Local brewery tap is a short walk and definitely worth a trip or 2!

My wife and I stayed at the property 2 nights for her birthday. It was the perfect little base for a getaway. Lovely log burner, steamy hot tub and such a comfy bed! Surroundings are amazing and the property owners really make you feel at home. Friendly and very helpful. Would definitely return again.

Very well equipped, and comfortable cottage situated in quiet rural setting, but yet central to many attractions . Lots of variety of things to do close by, or to just do nothing and relax. Sue is the perfect host, and ensured we had everything we needed. Very highly recommended, especially for a dog friendly break. Thank you for the perfect break.

A very nice welcome package including sausages, bacon, eggs, bread, Prosecco, beers, and chocolate. And the dogs had their own little treats including dog biscuits, a tin of food, dog towels and dog dishes to use whilst there. The great escape Sue is a fantastic host. She made it clear from the outset that nothing would be too much trouble but by the same token, she never impinged on our privacy. Fabulous cottage near to Rivington reservoir and. Gardens. Could walk to tap room for a nice pint too. The owners could not have done more to make this a special break away and the cottage was immaculate with loads of extra touches to make it a home from home.
