Looking for a day on the sands, within a short car journey is the picturesque seaside village of Westward Ho!, known for its beautiful beach and unique pebble ridge which links to Northam Burrows Country Park. The village also has an array of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes and amusements. The market town of Bideford is just a short drive away with an abundance of cafes, pubs, and the famous pannier market. The beautiful fishing village of Appledore is also nearby, where visitors can enjoy a relaxing day trip pottering around the shops, strolling along the quay, and perhaps catching the ferry across to the neighbouring village of Instow with its yacht club and beach.

Lovely cottage down a long country lane, on a farm. One level with parking and enclosed patio. All you would expect hiring a cottage. Dog friendly, lots of walks from the cottage if you have a dog . Easy to reach Bideford and surrounding areas, beaches, Tarka trail etc.

Lovely cottage, equipped with everything needed, we particularly liked the comfortable bed. Very scenic view from the cottage looking over fields down the valley and we saw some great sunsets. The road to the property was a typical narrow , high hedged Devonshire lane , which could be a challenge to some city drivers.
