Perfect for a short get away. Clean & well equipped the Belvedere tower was a unique and peaceful place to stay with an interesting past. An absolutely fairytale style cottage sat neatly at the top of a lovely Dartmoor hill. Couldnt have been cosier if we tried. Rarely do you find old buildings like this one with such a mysterious history, turned into a beautiful place to stay. Couldnt recommend it enough, just make sure you bring some supplies with you!

The Belvedere Tower is a truly wonderful place to stay, quiet, secluded, peaceful - it IS tiny, so be prepared for that, there is no clothes storage so you have to live out of your suitcase but we kept ours underneath the bed so not a problem. Our week had fantastic weather so we spent most evenings up on the roof looking at the stars, both villageRead more pubs served great food, and are a 10 min walk. Owner was pleasant and helpful and just minutes away, a great base to explore Devon Hide

Quirky, one of a kind, getaway from it all hideaway. We loved its remoteness, with only the sheep for company, although it is just a walk into town. Owners very welcoming but left us alone. Great base for exploring all of Devon and North Cornwall with pretty villages and stunning dartmoor scenery just a drive away. And the views from the roof terraRead morece are something else. Although small, the property had everything we needed. We enjoyed many evening bbqs in the garden, adding to our perfect stay. Hide
