I reached out to Helen before our stay to clarify a few things and she was incredibly helpful and accommodating, such a great host. The cottage itself was perfect, we were so grateful for how warm and clean it was! It really is out in the middle of nowhere which was ideal for us, we really hope to return.

It appeared as shown on the website . As the barn is a bit behind the farm you need to drive country lanes which can be a bit bumpy in parts.

If there is a place we like to go back to, this is it. Lovely view, quiet surrounding with the only noises of the sheep and the river. Good walks to be made directly from the cottage and further away.

The best cottage we've ever rented! beautiful location in a very beautiful nature reserve. The equipment of the cottage is very good and is cosily furnished. Very nice to take walks from the cottage or to relax on the private terrace. You only hear the murmur of the river, the sheep and the birds. For us a location to definitely go back to.

Very nice comfortable cottage, very clean and welcoming. Cottage right alongside of a river in a valley. The owners could not be nicer, nothing to much trouble for them. It is on a working farm so lots of sheep about. Highley recommend.

This holiday cottage is in a picturesque setting in the heart of a working sheep farm. There are at least five heavy wooden farm gates to open and close on coming and exiting the farm. The cottage was well furnished and the kitchen was equipped with satisfactory, useful appliances. The heating worked well. We had to boil the water as it wasn't fromRead more the mains. The sound of the River Sprint and morning bird song was delightful. It was lovely having walks on the farm following the bridle paths. Hide

The Barn is in a fantastic calm and quiet Longsleddale. Except the sheep , but watching them and other animals, make this place special. Walks can be started from the cottage or just a short drive away. Helpful owner too .
