Set in the village of Rushbury sitting amongst the gentle rolling hills of the Apedale Valley, between Much Wenlock and delightful Church Stretton, an area that’s perfect for exploring the outdoors with many well marked foot paths that will take you into the countryside and Shropshire hills. Shropshire offers an events calendar with many festivals and local events through the year to include The Ludlow medieval and food festival, The Ironbridge George Walking festival and Church Stretton Arts festival. The area is also rich in history with attractions within easy reach to include the Severn Valley Railway, Stokesay Castle and the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. Set in a courtyard with another beautifully converted byre, on an established working farm. Step through the original brick archway into the barn where you will be pleased by the exposed beams and contemporary style the owners have created. The ground floor is open-plan and has been enhanced with exposed beams and stone tiled floors, with a contemporary kitchen that is well-equipped to include an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A table and chairs are set within the area and are perfect for enjoying a hearty breakfast. The cosy lounge is perfect for relaxing with friends and offers a TV/ DVD and views onto the garden. There is also a separate WC on the ground floor. So, when the sun goes down, climb the open wooden stairs to the first floor where you will find two bedrooms. A double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC and a further double with garden views and en-suite shower room and WC.

Outside to the side of the barn is a seating area with table and chairs, where you can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding countryside or explore the grounds. There is allocated off-road parking for two cars.

The Cottage was to a high standard with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay . We loved the location was peaceful and quiet with lovely walks and things of interest. Had a very relaxing holiday.

Lovely small barn conversion on a farm in a small hamlet. Kitchen reasonably well stocked with equipment. Easy, convenient parking.

This is a comfortable cottage with space for 4 people, though not particularly large and with no freezer .

Cottage was as we expected . Only thing on the last day we were there a guy was employed to cut the grass which became quite noisy .

Excellent cottage. Quality fittings and very well furnished. 3 bed cottage for rent next door would make great accommodation for a larger group. Very friendly owners, if we go back to Shropshire will not bother looking at anything else, just re book

This is a lovely cottage in a great location, with off-road parking and a small, private outdoor space. Having two bathrooms makes it really special. Plenty to see and do within a small radius. Would thoroughly recommend.

The cottage is very clean and well arranged. The beds were comfortable and the whole cottage was easy to be in. The enclosed garden was great for the dog, and there are easy walks from the cottage.
