A fabulous cottage set on a working farm with lots of space both indoors and out, perfect for romantic breaks, and is also close to the coast and plenty of attractions to keep everyone entertained.

A delightfully located farmhouse cottage near the Pembrokeshire village of Llandissilio. Set on a working farm, with its own large grounds, this is super spot to relax and unwind any time of the year. The pretty boutique shopping town of Narberth is just a short drive away and the sandy beaches of Saundersfoot, with picturesque harbour and a plethora of eateries just a little further afield. The popular resort of Tenby with stunning coastline, independent shops and cobbled streets is slightly further, but worth a visit. There are lots of attractions to suit all tastes such as, Oakwood Theme Park, Blue Lagoon, both a short drive away and the historic castle at Llawhaden.

All set across one floor, enter the cottage which was refurbished in 2018 into the kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with a feature oil fired Rayburn for the winter months, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. There is also a shower room with shower and WC off the kitchen. Head up two steps from the kitchen into the beautiful lounge, thoughtfully finished in a contemporary country style with comfortable sofa and chairs framing the warming wood burner so you can spark up a roaring fire as soon as you arrive. Here there is also a TV/DVD, so you can relax and watch your favourite movie. From the small hallway head into the bedroom with a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request), with a coal effect electric fire and dressing table, there is also a chair set by the window, perfect for reading a book.

Heading outside there is a large enclosed lawn, with a table and chairs, take a walk through the small woodland down to your own dell with babbling brook and seating where you can relax in front of the fire pit. An idyllic spot to sit down, chat and disconnect from the everyday hubbub.

Lovely cottage, fantastic hosts. Very peaceful rural location within easy reach of some of the best beaches in Wales and the coast path. Great for dog owners and anybody who wants to see the Welsh countryside at its best.

You will not regret staying here! Fantastic and welcoming hosts, if youre lucky you will get to meet the very relaxed cows (close the gate!) The garden is secure, well kept and very spacious, Toddy enjoyed his morning dash down to the small stream At the bottom and I enjoyed the secluded bench. A long drive from where we are but a real home from home, very comfy bed and power shower. About 30 mins drive from Tenby and 24 mins from Carew Castle and Water Mill both worth a visit. Prime and Netflix on the T.V. If you want a night in. Large garden for dogs to run around in. You can even watch the cows go past your window on their way to milkiRead moreng. Lovely cottage, and on a working farm which was very interesting. The nights were so peaceful, you could hear a pin drop. The apple juice, fresh milk and home made fruit loaf that Richard & Judith ( the owners), left as a welcome gift was a lovely touch and so delicious. This is a superb holiday cottage on a working dairy farm. Our hostess, Judy, had thought of everything equipment-wise and was a mine of local tourist information. An excellent central location for south-west Pembrokeshire.

This is such a lovely welcoming cottage, the family are quiet but friendly, our little dog loves the little wood in the garden, they provide everything we need; there is even a nice safe spot to park the car. What a wonderful home from home! Our stay at Rhydwen farm was one of the best, it is cosy, beautifully clean, really well equipped and a great location from which to explore the area. A lovely comfortable and warm cottage which contained everything one could possibly need. Beautiful garden leading to woods and a stream. Our dogs loved it although not quite sure what to make are of the cows.. About 15 mins to the pretty town of Narbeth and 30 mins to the beautiful Amroth beach. A really great holiday!

Relaxing rural location. Lovely grounds and house with all you could possibly need for a holiday. Plenty to do and places to visit nearby. Very quiet cows coming in and out of the farmyard for milking. They were very contented as were we.

A very peaceful place for a relaxing holiday. The cottage was beautifully presented with everything one could possibly need. The bed deserves a special mention, so comfortable. So many places to visit in this gorgeous part of Wales, Calder Island being a highlight for us. We recommend this property without any hesitation.

This was our first break away in 12 months (for obvious reasons) we could not have chosen a better place to stay and to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. I stayed at Rhydwen Cottage with my partner and two dogs for a long weekend. The cottage is beautifully decorated and furnished with large airy rooms and a lovely large garden with its own wooded area and stream. I could have happily spend the whole weekend just relaxing in the cottage and the garden. It is a real treat for birdwatchers we saw at Read moreleast 10 species of birds feeding on the tree in the garden and saw woodpeckers and birds of prey from the windows. However, there are lots of things to see and do in the surrounding area. We spent a lovely few hours browsing the shops in Narberth and went to Manor Park Wildlife Park. There is a huge choice of beaches to visit nearby. The cottage is on a working dairy farm but is extremely quiet. There is central heating, an AGA and a log burners so there is no chance of being cold. There are lots of thoughtful touches provided by the owners including games, books, laundry and dishwasher tabs, blankets and poo bags for the dogs, tea and coffee, etc. Also a few thoughtful items to welcome us including milk and fruit juice. The owners and their family were warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. We cant wait to visit again! Hide

The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful. The cottage is immaculate and very comfortable. Although on a working farm it was very peaceful and relaxing. Lovely to have a safe garden for our dogs. Well placed for visiting many places eg St Davids, Tenby . Sunny garden for summer days and log fire for cooler evenings. A great place to unwind.

Beautiful cozy cottage in beautiful surroundings - large fully enclosed gardens which is a must for our 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Very quiet and peaceful. It is a little isolated but this is exactly what we wanted. Owners very welcoming & excellent hosts. A great central location for exploring Pembrokeshire.

This is a lovely cottage in a peaceful rural setting, owned by very welcoming and helpful family. It is important to note Rhydwen is a family run working dairy farm, which many will find very interesting. In no way does this detract from enjoying the peace and quiet, and the birds feeding are wonderful to watch.

Well equipped and overall comfortable. Loo is other end of cottage from bedroom and down two steps so if you need to go in the night you have a bit of a trek and disturb dogs if sleeping in kitchen. Peaceful location but possibly too remote as no pub or restaurant near or to our liking.
