The spacious and well-equipped kitchen with its warming Rayburn and central dining table conveniently leads directly from the lounge. The dual aspect windows provide plenty of natural light and offer lovely views of the fields and sea beyond, making it a delightful spot for a family meal. Also downstairs is a handy utility room, ideal for muddy or sandy footwear, and a simple twin bedroom. Heading upstairs you will find two bright and comfortable double bedrooms both with glorious views, and a bathroom with a shower over bath, hand basin and WC.

Outside at the rear of the property there is a lovely lawn that sweeps down towards fields of grazing cows. Wander outside with a drink and take in the beautiful views across farmland to the coast. At the front of the house is a large gravelled driveway with parking for two cars and a small area of lawn edged with mature borders.

Cottage location is great. The cottage is warm and fairly comfortable. The Rayburn in the kitchen kepts the kitchen warm and cosy. Have stayed here before. Love everything about the farmhouse. It's cosy and old fashioned but also modern bathroom and kitchen. Views amazing. If you want peace and quiet then Quarryside Farmhouse should be on your list. There are many lovely beaches and cliff top walks within easy driving distance, the views are spectacular. Our favourites were Dunnet Head & beach, Duncansby Head & Strathy beach. A drive along the north coast and a walk on Faraid Head & Balnakeil beach made for a lovely Read moreday trip. The secure front garden allowed us to relax with our dog off the lead. We would love to stay again in the future. Hide

The owner was very friendly and made us feel welcome.
