This cosy and welcoming barn conversion occupies a lovely elevated position with expansive views over the surrounding countryside. The property benefits from a private outside space and hot tub.

From here you are perfectly placed to access to all parts of North Devon including numerous beaches and coastal destinations, including ever popular Woolacombe, Croyde, Saunton Sands and Ilfracombe, with its vibrant harbour and famed for being the home of Damien Hirst’s Verity. The market town of Barnstaple is just a short drive and boasts a bustling pannier market alongside numerous restaurants, shops and pubs, as well as the Queens Theatre. Walkers and nature lovers will be in their element with Exmoor National Park and the South West Coast Path within easy reach. Other attractions and places of interest in the area include Braunton Burrows, Marwood Hill Gardens, Broomhill Sculpture Park, several National Trust properties including Arlington Court, Exmoor Zoological Park and Exmoor Steam Railway.

A nice break away. Cosy little cottage with a fabulous hot tub. Reasonably well equipped with sky tv and good internet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Prixford Barn. We were greeted with a bottle of red wine, chocolate biscuits and milk. We were also given some free range eggs during our stay. We thought this was a lovely touch. The property is in a lovely quiet rural location within easy reach of Barnstaple. Prixford Barn was a gem of a find, set on a farm with livestock made an escape to the country dream come true. Coupled with easy access to many beaches within half hour drive, allowing each day to be a different adventure.
