Relax in the peace and tranquillity of this delightful countryside setting in 1 of 4 courtyard barn conversions.

The sandy beaches and surfing waves at Westward Ho!, Woolacombe and Saunton are all within easy reach by car. Close to the Tarka Trail where you can cycle or walk along this disused railway line and enjoy the various watering holes along the way. Spend the day in Bideford with its park, pannier market, small shops, restaurants, pubs. There is much more to see and do in the area with attractions to suit all tastes including Tapeley Park, Dartington Crystal, The Big Sheep, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, The Milky Way and more. Relax on site and see the animals in surrounding fields and in the evenings visit one of many local family pubs all serving good food.

This beautiful barn has been lovingly converted and individually equipped. The large open plan living accommodation is warm and inviting and has a cosy wood burning stove perfect to sit and relax in front after a day of exploring. The room is spacious and shows off its original beams and stone walls that are steeped in history.

With 5 steps down to the double bedroom which can be made up as a twin on request, this room has exposed beams and a lovely countryside charm. The bathroom has a spa bath and separate shower and bidet and continues with a cream country cottage theme.

Outside is the large shared enclosed solar heated pool with adjacent paddling/toddler pool so perfect for all to enjoy.  There is also a large communal garden and miles of farmland to enjoy.

 

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

the sofa's are pretty small and not the most comfortable, but a very tidy little cottage with clean and pleasant decor, nice big bedroom and enough room for 2 with the kitchen diner and lounge all in one

Very beautiful and convenient location. Fantastic hosts who are always on hand to help but discreet. Stunning, cosy cottage. All in all the perfect cottage for a couples getaway!

The Cider House is cosy, has some interesting history and is a brilliant base for north Devon. We loved being on a working farm, especially our toddler who would go and see the animals on a toy tractor provided and feed Maj the pony a carrot!

Everything you could want in a cottage and more. Owners are very friendly respect your privacy but are there if you need them. Absolutely wonderful. We will be making a third visit next year.
