We loved Pike Hill Cottage. It was just what we were looking for. Extremely comfortable and quiet, the sound of the birds and the sheep was so relaxing. Its proximity to the Settle and Carlisle railway was great, if you time the trains correctly you can avoid having to drive too far as well. We did lots of walking and enjoyed Dent, Ribblehead, HortRead moreon in Ribblesdale and Hawes. The pubs and restaurants in Sedburgh are excellent. Hide

Lovely spacious cottage. Not particularly recommended for under threes due to stone and wooden floors but we managed with our one year old and the cot provided was very nice. Lovely views of the countryside.
