You could head to the coast and enjoy seaside resorts including Minehead, Watchet, Brean and Burnham-on-Sea. A little further afield you will find plenty of popular towns and cities to explore including Tiverton, Taunton, Bridgwater and Wells.

On entering this charming and attractive single-storey barn conversion, which is approached via six external stone steps, you will find yourself in the welcoming and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With comfy seating, TV, DVD and a traditional wood burner, the inviting and attractive lounge is an ideal space to unwind in at the end of a wonderful day. Lovely cottage great for exploring Exmoor, the quantock hills and the coast. Very clean with good facilities and equipment. Lovely log burner to sit in front of in the evening. No mobile reception for us in cottage (o2) and very limited reception throughout the area. However wifi in the cottage meant we weren't completely out of touch with the outsRead moreide world. Loved our stay at Old Holcombe Water Farm, perfect for our weekend getaway. Lovely countryside drives to the seafront and into little villages. Enclosed garden, perfect for our dog and high hair available for our baby. Beautiful views, would definitely recommend and happily stay again.

the location was stunning. i liked the fact that all the cottages had their own outside space. shame about the lack of connectivity. the wildlife was in abundance around the cottage and it was very clean and tidy. the owners left us milk and eggs and was very helpful when i had forgotten our rice.
