Situated in a delightful part of North Cornwall, the property enjoys some panoramic views over fields to the ocean. You will be perfectly positioned for touring Cornwall and North Devon and visiting the many sandy family beaches including Widemouth Bay (ideal for surfing), which is less than 3 miles by car. You will also be close to the many attractions which include Dairyland Farm World, The Rebel Cinema, the Bude sea lock and canal, the Eden Project, Clovelly Village, Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor and more. On arrival, you will encounter the bedrooms first: one double and one twin. Upstairs on the first floor is an open-plan social area that includes a lounge, dining area and a kitchen. There is also a bathroom containing a shower over bath with WC. The lounge area centres around a TV/DVD and a wood burner to relax in front of, while there is also a hi-fi to listen to your favourite music with. Wood is supplied (one basket) for the fire between October and April. The kitchen area comes equipped with an oven, a fridge with ice compartment, a microwave, and a dishwasher. Laundry facilities are available by arrangement.

Step outside the property into the shared garden, where the property has its own picnic table and a handy BBQ too. There is also ample off-road parking very nearby. For children, there is a shared outdoor play area, and guests are encouraged to explore the grounds and meet the various animals that live there, such as the donkey, ponies, ducks and chickens.

Yes Lovely, friendly and helpful owners. Excellent location for the North Cornwall & Devon coast and Bodmin Moor. Despite Covid lockdown part way through our weeks holiday, a fab time as brilliant weather for the second part of the week. Holiday cottages were speedy and efficient with our booking made only 2 days before we arrived. Thankyou

The cottage itself was lovely everything was neat and tidy, the owner of the property did everything she could to make our stay enjoyable, leaving us tea ,coffee, milk and biscuits for our arrival, and texting the next day to make sure everything was ok.

After our break was cancelled by another property, we booked North Penlen Farm cottage. Gill was quick to confirm everything by phone. On arrival She followed social distancing guidance and we had her number to contact her on for anything. We slept well in the double bed and had everything in the kitchen we needed to cook. The best part was the logRead more fire. It rained most of the time so a quiet evening by the fire was lovey. This is a great value for money place to stay to explore Cornwall. Hide

Honeypot is a great base for exploring North Cornwall in and around Bude, handy for the A39. The cottage was clean and well equipped, with good views and a nice bit of character. Gill was a helpful host, on hand when we needed her. The children loved the outdoor space and playing with the hens.

We spent a very pleasant week in Honeypot Cottage. It is a simple but clean and cosy cottage, a good base in a convenient location for enjoying North Cornwall's coast and countryside.
