The coastal towns of Seaton and Lyme Regis are just a 10-minute drive away – don’t miss Mark Hix’s Oyster & Fish House restaurant, which overlooks Lyme Regis Bay. Other attractions include Axe Valley Wildlife Park, Ferne Animal Sanctuary, Lyme Regis Marine Aquarium, Seaton Tramway, Crealy Great Adventure Park and National Trust properties.

This is a characterful old farm cottage full of charm and quirks. It is very rural yet handy for Lyme Regis and the coast. We would highly recommend the farms wine tour and tasting - excellent value for money and a really interesting and lovely way to spend a few hours.

The location is great for visiting all the nearby beaches. The house was nicely presented and the beds were very comfortable even for me at 6ft 3. We also appreciated the highchair provided as it meant one less thing to bring. Our children really enjoyed all the outdoor space and seeing the cows from the windows. Charming cottage down a little-used country lane. Part of a working farm that does not cause any inconvenience. Some minor items need attention, but overall we had a pleasant stay in peaceful rural surroundings, but within easy reach of Lyme Regis, Seaton, Sidmouth and Exeter.

Minor niggles. Only 5 bowls and 5 spoons for 6 people. Needs more than 3 pegs on washing line. Doorknob on downstairs loo falls off - it's possible to get stuck inside especially for a child. Bath drainpipe into the external sewage downpipe leaks over backdoor step when bath is drained. Back door from lounge sticks - could easily be fixed. It's a lRead moreovely house but needs some attention to details and maintenance. We enjoyed our stay very much despite the niggles mentioned above. Hide

Fantastic location and property ideally located for the many beaches and (very good) holiday attractions like the Seaton tram. Shared gardens are lovely. Lovely cottage in very quiet location down single track lanes. Kitchen equipment could do with an update if you plan on doing any cooking. Garden is very open to surrounding fields of livestock so dog had to be kept on lead at all times. However a very nice time spent here with good access to Jurassic coast and local attractions.
