Set on a 35 acre farm rich in wildlife and with access to the farm’s meadow, lake and woodland, this pretty cottage has lovely views across rolling lawns and fields to the valley of the River Medina.
This is an area abundant with wildlife including frogs, newts and ducks in the pond the garden overlooks. There is a large ancient woodland area which blooms with bluebells each spring. This is wonderful walking and cycling area, and you can follow the course of the river towards the market town of Newport with its small harbour, arts centre, shops and the mediaeval castle of Carisbrooke. The opposite route takes you to Cowes, the famous sailing centre with excellent restaurants and boutique shops. Nearby is Osborne House, the island home of Queen Victoria.
