Alternatively, Brecon Beacons National Park lies just 5 miles to the south, while urban adventurers can set their sites on the market towns of Brecon and Builth Wells – 9 and 12 miles distant respectively – and seek out local independent stores and boutiques, as well as great cafes, restaurants and bars.
