Other places to visit is the historic town of Penrith with its many shops, pubs and restaurants or the historic market town of Appleby. Other attractions in the area include Penrith and Brougham Castles, and, National Trust properties.
Set in a pretty cobbled courtyard opposite owners’ home, where privacy is assured, you will find this pretty ground floor annexe. Walk into the hallway where you will find a a separate WC and large storage cupboard where you can store your coats and boots after a busy day exploring. You will then go through to the kitchen, which is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and there is a dining area with a table for two. From here head through to the light and spacious lounge where you can relax on comfy sofas in front of the wood burner effect electric fire and watch your favourite movie on the TV/DVD, or, if you prefer, there are lots of games and books to choose from. Further along the hallway is the bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, separate shower and WC.
Heading outside at the front of the property you will find a small lawned area with seating to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine. There is off-road parking for one car.
