You’re likely to see the farm chickens and dogs, and meet the families staying on the camp site as there are 6-7 delightful camping pitches. Inside, the cottage has many characterful features yet has been decorated in a contemporary style. A 3-mile drive takes you to the picturesque village of Instow with its estuary beach and sand dunes, a variety of local pubs, and a superb deli. Other nearby attractions include The Milky Way Adventure Park, The Big Sheep, or Tapley Park and RHS Rosemoor Gardens all within 12.5 miles.

On entering this superb property you find yourself in a small porch before stepping into the kitchen diner – the spacious room is well furnished and equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. A table and chairs make breakfast, lunch, or dinner a breeze and offers a great spot to plan your next day’s adventures. Further on is a door and step down to a comfortable lounge with a corner sofa, wood burner and smart TV. Back to the kitchen/dining area, the staircase rises to the first floor and a large double bedroom with double-aspect windows allow the natural light to flood in. A small en-suite shower is in one corner of the room and there is a separate WC off the landing.

Lovely location, great friendly hosts. Cottage comfortable and we really enjoyed the log burner of an evening. Nothing too much trouble. Even offered to collect us from the village or the Tarka trail if we needed! First long trip away in an all electric car. Found Tesco in Bideford good for 3hr charge nice walk into Bideford from there, there is a Read moreshort cut along the Old Barnstaple Road. Also used Riverbank car park Genie Point charge point all good there for charging to get home. Hide

We enjoyed our stay at Little Treyhill. we were there for five nights together with our dog. The property was spotlessly clean and comfortable. All equipment appeared brand new and in good working order. We would recommend the pub in Westleigh - The Westleigh Arms which is a five minute drive away or a 20/25 minute walk. We have just had a three night stay at Treyhill Cottage where we were made to feel very welcome. For a one bedroom cottage the living space was huge with modern decor and quirky features, it was also spotlessly clean and provided everything we needed for our stay, and some. Thanks for a lovely stay ...
