Well I could wax lyrical about this little gem. The most well appointed and homely getaway I have stayed at. Despite the weather, which was trust me wet, we had a wonderful break away. The location is an ideal base to visit so many different areas in Devon/Cornwall, some superb beach walks etc. We didnt do the Tarka Trail as it appears a lot of it Read moreis on the open road which in driving rain isnt ideal. The garden is ideal for dogs to run around in, meet the local wildlife and farm cows. Hide

Very spacious property, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Lovely location at the end of a long narrow lane - we saw deer and a barn owl in the valley from the window. Great location for exploring North Devon. Very friendly and helpful owner site.

Brilliant cottage on a farm all you could need for art or longer stay Such as ironing board iron hairdryer etc Facilities good and views lovely .Close to all the areas attractions and you would be pushed to get everything in a week! Whilst we didn't do walks as 12 year old westie not so good on her legs many of them around to enjoy. Cottage was spoRead moretless and milk , chocs and wine a lovely touch. Lovely comfortable cottage. However enclosed garden was very small with apple trees which hung low making it difficult to walk our young dog out at night.

We stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely stay. It felt like a home from home and was a great base from which to travel to the various local attractions. We went to Combe Haven and also Lundy Island, both of which were very enjoyable. The location was so quiet and peaceful and felt like a proper country retreat. We'd definitely come and stay again.
