Lincoln that is famous for its cathedral, castle and Magna Carta Centre is within easy reach and is well worth a visit. The sandy beaches at Skegness can be easily reached for a day at the seaside. Enjoy excellent walks and cycle routes straight from the door of the property into the Lincolnshire Wolds. Cadwell Park Circuit is a short drive away from the property, as are the market towns of Louth, Horncastle and Market Rasen, also well known for its racecourse and is also worth a visit.

Step through into this single storey conversion into the hallway, lose your coat and boots and let the cosy cottage welcome you. The impressive open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner boasts exposed brick and high ceilings decorated with oak beams, a stunning place to relax, so put your feet up on the comfy sofas in front of the Smart TV/ and enjoy a movie. French doors let the light flood into the room for a bright and airy feel. The kitchen offers everything you need to rustle up a good meal for your loved ones, such as electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave, and the nearby farmhouse table is spacious enough for the whole family to come together. Enjoy a good night’s rest in the double bedroom with TV.  There is a further twin bedroom, and shower room with shower and WC. Completing the accommodation is the bathroom with hand-held shower over spa bath and WC.

Take time to unwind in the outdoor hot tub with nearby table, chairs and BBQ. Beyond the courtyard is a spacious shared grassed area with lots of space to enjoy outdoor games. Explore the 300 acres following the private Farm Trail, a glorious walk designed to take guests on a beautiful path around the farm incorporating a ponds, woodland, private airstrip, dedicated wildlife areas, and beautiful scenery. Enjoy some time relaxing by the private lake watching the wildlife or try your hand at fly-fishing, also you can play a game of tennis on the shared tennis courts. You will also have access to a share utility room with washing machine. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Despite the awful weather most days (it was February), we had a lovely week here! The cottage was clean and comfortable, the hot tub a hit with us all (2 adults, 2 kids), and the hosts were lovely too. The animals on site were an added bonus for our children, in particular the new pony and the resident duck! They loved being allowed to collect eggsRead more from the chickens too! Lovely homely property and well equipped. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Great farm walk even though it was a bit muddy could still get round and was nice. Nice peaceful location too.

We found kite cottage just what we were looking for, nice and relaxing. Hot tub was great, owners were lovely people, very helpful and the welcome basket very much appreciated, would definitely book again and would recommend a stay here.

Had a brilliant stay at the cottage. The property had everything we needed and was clean and tidy - with super comfy beds. The grounds of the cottage were lovely too and our private garden with hot tub, gas BBQ and seating was amazing. The owners of the property were super lovely, helpful and brightened the stay also. We had a fantastic week as a family in Kite Cottage. The cottage was the perfect size - big enough for us to have space to relax, but not too big so that it still felt like a cottage. The area was idyllic, quite remote but not too far to shops etc when needed. Great location in a beautiful setting. Sarah and her husband were so welcoming, helpful and informative. It was a lovely surprise to have homemade lemon drizzle cake, fresh milk, tea, coffee and all the bits and bobs you need for a self catering break. As well as fleshly cut flowers from thier meadow. Lovely stay with my partner & the children. A nice cosy living space and all on one level which was great with having young children. We were lucky enough to have some nice weather & the outdoor space was lovely. A quiet peaceful area is just what we needed, I would visit again x

It's a great place to stay, as soon as you drive through the gates and up the gravel driveway everything looks lovely. The accommodation is great, really spacious but cosy too. Our little one loved the giant bath and the eldest was in the hot tub every day. It's got everything you need for a long weekend (or longer) in the countryside.

Really lovely cottage in the Lincolnshire countryside. Great location for exploring the county. Hot tub is a particular highlight!
