This delightful semi-detached converted barn nestles on the grounds of a family-run farm just a short drive to the coast, offering a perfect base for families looking to explore ever-popular Devon.

Set within 70 acres of land on a working arable farm, this property is surrounded by wonderful walks through the beautiful countryside. This is an ideal base from which to explore the nearby coastlines, which include the Jurassic Coast, Exmouth and the English Riviera, all within easy reach and offering a different slice of life beside the sea. Keen walkers should take to nearby Dartmoor National Park, rich in flora and fauna, while wonderful family days out can be enjoyed at Crealy Adventure Park, The Donkey Sanctuary and Seaton Electric Tramway. For a night out, head to nearby Exeter to explore its many restaurants, bars, shops and cafes.

Step inside this pretty converted barn and through into the beautifully light open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. In the lounge area, you will find comfortable sofas sat in front of a Smart TV which provides the perfect place to relax in style with a good book or catching up on your favourite programme. Located beside is a lovely laid back dining area plus the inclusion of a door to outside means that you can enjoy meals alfresco with ease during warm weather. The next area is the perfectly appointed kitchen area and this boasts a great range of appliances and equipment including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and also a washing machine. Now head up the stairs and onto the first floor where you will discover the pretty bedrooms, the first of which is a spacious room with characterful exposed beams and a king-size bed. Making this a great offering for a variety of family groups are two further bedrooms, one king-size zip-and-link (which can be made up as a twin with two 2’6” single beds upon request), and finally a cosy single bedroom. Completing the offering inside the property is a lovely contemporary bathroom with a shower over bath and a separate WC.

Heading outside further highlights await in the shape of the delightful enclosed garden and this boasts an area of gently sloping lawn, gravelled area, garden furniture, charcoal BBQ and also the fabulous feature of a private hot tub. Here you can enjoy dining in the open air and also a relaxing dip in the hot tub after a busy day exploring either coast or country. You can also visit the children's play area with a climbing frame, slide and swings which is available on site. Private off-road parking for two cars is also provided.

This accommodation had everything we needed and made for a very comfortable stay. Rooms spacious, beds comfy and all very clean. It is set in a great location for many attractions for both adults and children. Hosts can be contacted but allowed us to keep to ourselves - welcome treats were lovely.

Fantastic stay in this lovely barn! We had a great time with our 2 children. The farm, even with no pigs now, had plenty to entertain them and the swings and peddle cars were well used. Hot tub was perfect! The barn has everything that you could need and the owners were very welcoming and happy to help.

We had a wonderful week here. The barn is very homely and is situated in a fantastic location. We did not noticed the day to day running of the farm so no need to worry about noise. The Hot Tub is amazing and is a great way to relax at home. 10/10 and will definitely book again
