We enjoyed our holiday in the cottage very much. Note if you have small dogs the whole perimeter is not dog proof we could not let the dogs out to play. The owners are very nice and just across the road, they were ready to advise if needed. Very peaceful would stay again

We had a fantastic time at Hersham Lodge. The setting was amazing as were the views. The use of the paddock was a big bonus for our 2 children and Doberman who loved the freedom and safety to run around. The owner Bill was a delight and fantastic to talk too, he was the icing on the cake. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our break, but we had 2 small dogs and the fencing was post and rail, giving easy access to the fields from the back yard. The front farm gate was quite high off the ground, so dogs could easily get out onto the road. Unfortunately, it meant we couldnt have the patio doors open and it was hot. It was however, lovely having the use of theRead more fields to walk in. The owner Bill is lovely and it was a nice barn conversion & location. Hide

This cottage was great for us as we had access to the enclosed fields right next door, which was ideal for the kids and dog to run around in! Good location and the owners were friendly and welcoming.

We had a wonderful week staying here. It had everything we needed for a relaxing week away and was a great base for exploring the area. Our dog and children loved the field to play in and we all enjoyed seeing the cows every day. Would definitely love to come back.

This place is a wonderful setting. The owner is lovely and welcoming. Kids were allowed to play in the field. Despite the dated furniture it had everything you need. However the beds are in need of new mattresses. A few items need replacing in the kitchen.

Very nice clean cottage in a quiet location. The length of the grass in the paddock to the side for guests use and their dogs was a disappointment being between 2 -3 feet long. . If you had arrived with young children hoping to utilise the paddock for games etc as i recall doing years ago with my boys , you would be disappointed. Curiously, there wRead moreere no decent size tumblers and no pint glasses. A BBQ would be a welcome addition to. Hide
