This thoughtfully designed shepherds hut has easy access to Hadrians Wall, the Lake District and Scottish Borders.
Positioned within the grounds of the farm, there are a number of easy care sheep together with small number of poultry breeds. A mile outside the village of Longtown, and just a few miles from the Scottish Borders this is a fantastic location for a break away. Visit the castle city of Carlisle, which is within easy reach, or you could explore nearby Hadrian’s Wall. Spanning 84 miles coast to coast across the north of England, it's the largest Roman monument in Europe. There are woodland walks near the shepherd’s hut for the more adventurous or you can enjoy an relaxing evening star gazing or unwinding while dining al fresco.
A path leads you through the field to the bespoke shepherd’s hut which is accessed by three small steps. Inside you will find a stylishly designed open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping area. In the lounge area, relax after a busy day in front of the wood burner and discuss the day's adventures. The kitchen area is well-equipped for those evenings you decide to stay in and cook with an electric oven and hob, fridge and a cosy dining area for two. There is a double bed from which you can enjoy countryside views from the windows or watch a movie on the TV/DVD player while snuggled up under the covers. There is also an en-suite shower room and compostable WC in the property.
Outside the property is a seating area for two and charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining. There is parking for one car across the field from the shepherd’s hut.
