Walk to the local pub or drive to Bala, just a few miles down the road, offering cafes, pubs, shops, cinema, swimming pool and Wales’s largest natural lake. Enjoy boating, stroll around the lake or ride on the steam railway and embrace the view. For the more adventurous there’s the National White-Water Centre, Zip World Slate Caverns at Blaenau Ffestiniog, Galn Y Gors Karting Park and the mountain bike trail centre at Coed y Brenin. Head to King Arthur’s Labyrinth or Harlech’s sandy beach, historic Castle, shops and cafes, not forgetting St David’s Golf Course. Being in Southern Snowdonia you can enjoy a plethora of footpaths and cycle routes, superb fishing, varied activities and events in this breath-taking scenery.

Drive through the farm to this imposing stone house, up the steps and into the porch with space for your boots. The well-equipped kitchen/diner has a range style electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. If you decide to eat in, relax on the comfy sofa in the kitchen and ponder the recipe books or go through to the dining area flooded with natural light. The dining table has plenty of space for everyone to gather round, enjoy a meal, maybe let the outside in and open the French doors, here you will also find a second fridge and a washing machine. Back through the kitchen you will find the lounge, with the inglenook fireplace and wood burner taking centre stage surrounded by comfortable sofas, where you can relax and watch TV. Following on from the lounge, you will find a cosy snug, settle in to the sofa, watch a film on TV, read a book or play games. Up the stairs to the first floor, there is a shower room, with shower and WC, with natural light flooding through the sun tunnel. There are three spacious bedrooms all with lovely views, two doubles and one twin. There is a television in each bedroom.

At the rear of the property is a paved patio with private hot tub, perfect to unwind after a full day out. The walled garden has grassy banks, gravelled areas and paving to enjoy al fresco dining with table, chairs, charcoal BBQ and lovely views over the farm, rolling countryside and towards Bala lake. There is private parking for three cars at the property. Please note this farmhouse is located on a working farm with cattle, sheep and horses, although your privacy is assured.

Lovely cottage to stay at in North Wales with plenty of room for a large family or group or friends. The kitchen was large with plenty of room and equipment for cooking. Highly recommend

Fantastic property, really comfortable and homey has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and plenty of fridge and freezer space Owners are really friendly. Great for taking your dogs away as the back garden is fully enclosed

My wife and I stayed here with our 2 dogs. The cottage is very spacious and offers all necessary facilities for the perfect stay including the Hot Tub which we really enjoyed. The garden area is completely secluded and can be locked off, which gave our dogs the freedom to run around without the worry of them escaping. The Kitchen is fully stocked wRead moreith ample cookware etc. We chose to eat in most nights and sample local produce, so the range oven worked well. Looking forward to our next trip! Hide

Very clean and comfortable home from home. Great hot tub enjoyed by all. Hosts are very near by on farm and will do anything to make your stay fabulous. Even had lots of blackberries on the road up to the farm to pick. We will definitely be booking again xx

Lovely home to rent for a holiday. The area and surroundings,fantastic. Hot tub was up and running when we arrived and needed after a lot of,driving,hot weather,walking,sightseeing and zip wire,days out.

Lovely place in the middle of nowhere. Hot tub was wonderful at night looking at the stars. Even the dog had a great time watching the farm animals and birds from the secure garden.

We had a 3 night girls trip and it was wonderful. The house is so cute, so peaceful and fully relaxing. Because the area has no light pollution the night sky is absolutely amazing (especially for those of us from big cities). Lovely place to stay. Overlooking Bala lake which is accessible at the local village by a quaint steam train. The location is perfect if you like to be just outside everything, being on a working farm the property is at the top of the farm affording privacy. Inside the cottage is decorated with nice touches related to farm life. The garden has a hoRead moret tub and views of the farm and faraway hills with a nice walk close by. Lovely cottage in a great location. We found the accommodation clean and well equipped with great views towards Bala. We visited Barmouth and Harlech which are well worth a visit and also drove to Llanberis to climb Snowden which is about an hour and a quarter drive away. Lovely cottage tucked away on a working farm. The location was perfect for the local high street in Bala and not too far to travel to snowdon, we also visited Barmouth, devil falls, Aberystwyth and Porthmadog, all roughly an hour away.

This is a beautiful farmhouse in a peaceful setting. It's on a working farm but we didn't have any interruptions because of that, it was quite lovely to see the sheep and cows. The house is really well equipped and comfortable plus it was very clean throughout. For hikers you can set off right from the front door up the nearby Aran mountains which Read morewas a nice plus for us. Communication with the owner prior to arrival was prompt and friendly.
