This is not a character property, nor a romantic one. It is, though, very practical, spotlessly clean, well situated, comfortable, with a satisfactory set of facilities (good-sized shower) and altogether a good base for a couple looking to self-cater in this area. As it is situated on a dairy farm you must obviously be prepared for smells and fliesRead more (but only when outside). The views to the south-west (the clue is in the name, 'Far View') are pretty amazing. We would certainly return to it. Hide

Wendy and her husband were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and most helpful throughout our stay. As you can see from the trivial recomendation for improvement, the accommodation was impeccably clean and comfortable with fantastic views over the Devon countryside from within the farm. We were grateful for the supplies of consumables suchRead more as cleaning items, tea bags, cooking oil etc. and would definitely recommend this as a holiday destination for any couple wanting to visit the SW. Everything was fantastic, I was amazed by the view from the garden, I couldn't stop enjoying the nature/birds/sheep/cows. Excellent location getting to Exeter, or both National Park and to seaside, too. Owners are very friendly and helpful, cottage is very comfy, bright, quiet, well equipped and spotlessly clean. I have had here one of my best holiRead moreday in my life, though I have to admit I love the rural England. Hide
