This cosy annexe on a working farm is a great base for a quiet Devon holiday. Guests can either relax and enjoy the scenery or get in the car and explore what the county has to offer.

This cosy holiday property offers comfortable accommodation and scenic countryside views, all set within a busy working farm. There is much to see in the area, including several family beaches, quiet coves and quaint fishing villages, all within a 30-minute car journey. Guests can take a day trip to either the Cathedral city of Exeter or Plymouth with their shops, restaurants, cafés and many places of interest. Fingle Glen golf course is nearby for keen golfers to enjoy and hikers can take the car to explore Dartmoor with its many walks and dramatic scenery. There are also several National Trust properties in the area such as Bickleigh Mill and make for an enjoyable day out for all the family.

Inside, the annexe has an open plan layout featuring a lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is furnished with a comfortable sofa, cabinet, coffee table, a TV and DVD player. The dining area has a breakfast bar with two stools and a dining table with seating for two people, ideal for a romantic meal with your partner during your stay. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment and a washing machine. There is one king-size bedroom which is light and airy, with a chest of drawers and two bed-side tables, as well as an en-suite shower room and WC.

Outside the property has a large garden with a BBQ and lovely views of the surrounding countryside. There is also outdoor seating for guests to relax and enjoy the summer evenings. Parking is provided for one car.

Everything was fantastic, I was amazed by the view from the garden, I couldn't stop enjoying the nature/birds/sheep/cows. Everything about the cottage was excellent, the owners were very welcoming. I would just like to thank all the badly behaved dog owners who have stayed there with their pets for letting them misbehave so much and not cleaning up after them . Now the owners of the cottage will no longer accept any pets, therefore depriving the rest of us and our welRead morel behaved dogs from what would have been another super holiday. Hide

Lovely large dog friendly garden with fantastic surroundings and country views. The property was excellent and well equipped. We chose Farview because it was ideally located to visit many coastal towns within 30 minutes to an hours drive.

We arrived in a clean, neat, complete cottage and were welcomed by the charming, friendly and caring owner. Dogs are welcome and can play in the large fenced garden, so you needn't be afraid your pet will wander off. There are comfertable chairs in the garden and you have a stunning view. Great location, well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very friendly hosts. The enclosed garden was perfect for our 15 month Labrador. The views from the cottage were stunning and it is in easy reach of many attractions and the coast.
