Spacious farmhouse situated just outside of the village of Threlkeld. The perfect escape for family or friends looking to explore the Lake District. With some lovely pubs within walking distance and the town of Keswick just a short drive away.

With some fabulous walks available from your front door, this area is a haven for walking and cycling. Helvellyn, Skiddaw and Catbells are all on your doorstep and there are loads of choices when it comes to sailing, climbing and horse riding or 4x4 off roading in the local area. The Keswick Brewery is a short drive away and offers tours and the chance to sample some of the local ales. For the adrenaline junkies in your party why not try Go Ape or younger members of the family might like to visit the local Alpaca centre which has some fabulous walks.

As you enter the property into the lobby the lounge is to your left and the large kitchen with feature island is to the right. The lounge has a large wall mounted Smart TV and comfortable seating. and through the archway there is a beautiful feature dining area where you can catch up over dinner in the evening. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and induction hob, microwave combi oven, two fridge/freezers and dishwasher. There are bar stools situated at the end of the island which are perfect for enjoying a coffee or breakfast. Head up the stairs to the first floor there are three double bedrooms, two of which have TV's and one twin bedroom. There is a family bathroom situated between the bedrooms on the first floor which features a bath, separate shower and WC.

To the front of the property there is a small decked area where you can sit out enjoy the fell views and catch up after a day out exploring. There is ample private parking available to the front of the property.

Wardrobes in 1 bedrooms. other bedrooms had hooks on walls with coat hangers Very tatty/dated throughout and in need of desperate redecorating and cleaning. The cottage was clean, and well equipped and a few minutes drive away from the keswick town centre. The owner was available on phone for any queries. The property has 1 combined bathroom and toilet which was abit of a struggle for 8 people.

Its ok. Part of a small complex of holiday cottages (which isnt made clear on the website). The decor is tired and the place doesnt feel particularly clean - the pictures make it look better than it really is. Lots of flies- its right next to a cattle shed. I cant say we would rush back.

Great location and setting House is good value although could be brightened up, quite quirky. Kitchen is very modern and house is warm with lots of hot water etc. Tap is good but takes getting used to. Only one bathroom but it's workable.

Good location if coming from the north or east. Easy access to keswick. Nice pub a mile away. Comfortable cottage, strange eclectic mix of furnishings, odd statues and ornaments that are not really needed. Warm and cosy.

Very comfortable cottage and exceptionally clean. We found the beds gave us an excellent night's sleep. The kitchen is full of gadgets and the lounge is a comfortable space to relax. The location is excellent, only a ten minute drive from Keswick or use the old railway line to walk or cycle in.

We really enjoyed our holiday. The cottage was clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped with everything we needed. The views were amazing and the cottage was in a great location close to Windermere Keswick etc. Loved sitting outside the cottage and looking at the views.
