Stayed for 1 week, small family consisting of husband, wife, 6 year old daughter & dog. Property was perfect for our needs, used it as more of a base with which to go off and explore the sights of Devon & Cornwall. The owners are an absolute treasure & lovely people. Had a wonderful time & made lots of lovely memories.

Dartridge Farm Cottage is the perfect base for exploring Devon/Cornwall/Exeter. The cottage itself is cosy and comfy, and had everything we needed for our six night stay, and is pet friendly, so our dog had a great time too! Margaret and John are super friendly and chatty and made us feel very welcome on their farm. The perfect socially distanced getaway! Hide

Lovely hosts and a beautiful location. Views over the countryside from your bedroom windows great walks from your doorstep. Nice local village. Our 5 year old loved being on the farm and our dog had a great holiday too...there's a playground and dogpark within walking distance in the village.

Had a wonderful week's holiday in this quiet centrally-located Devon farm cottage, overlooking a quiet valley with a small river at the bottom. Blissfully isolated down a 1/4 mile of farm track. Beautifully quiet and dark at night and a nice south-facing sun trap in the day time for the front garden/courtyard. Pristine clean (no limescale!) and smeRead morelling fresh. Plenty of hot water. A small flurry of flies on the second day was promptly dealt with by the owners, and they were most apologetic. Hide

Margaret and John (proprietors) were wonderful. Felt more like visiting family than a paid holiday. The cottage has everything you need, including a washing machine. I would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful break away from it all. If you intend to cook while there, do your food shopping on route as there are no supermarkets within 15 miles. The accommodation was just what we were hoping for; we were wanting to give our young Grandson a farming experience. Mr. and Mrs Stoneman allowed him to feed the lambs, they gave up their valuable time to show him around the farmyard and also access to walk across their land - perfect.

Located on a working farm, bottle fed the lambs and collected eggs from the chickens. Owners extremely friendly as well as the local village. Ideal location for getting out and about. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The cottage was very clean and spacious ideal for small family (2 adults and 9 year old), the owners cottage was next door and they were so friendly and my son fell in love with their dog Meg and 2 cats. Cottage was within easy reach of local activities and you must try the Red Lion in Chulmleigh.
