This cottage is one of three properties situated in a secluded countryside location. The converted barn has been renovated to a very high standard and is a great place to stay and get away from it all. A pub and shop are two miles away and there are many options available for day trips by car. The popular coastal town of Bude is 13 miles away with its shops, pubs and several beaches including Widemouth Bay. There are many local tourist attractions in the area including The Big Sheep, RHS Rosemoor, Tamar Lakes and the Milky Way Adventure Park. Moving further afield, Tintagel, Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and Barnstaple are all within an hour’s drive.

Inside the property itself, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner features vaulted beamed ceilings, a Smart TV in the lounge and a wood burner (the first basket of logs is included). The dining table has seating for two, whilst the kitchen area is modern with an electric oven and hob, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The cottage a king-size bedroom. The bathroom has a shower over bath and WC.

Outside there is an enclosed space to relax in and to dine al fresco. Guests can make use of the seating overlooking the pond for a tranquil spot to enjoy the peace and quiet. Dogs are very well catered for and have their own designated exercise field.

I cant recommend this cottage highly enough! Cleanliness and comfort perfect. The cottage has so much character. The bedroom furniture is sheer luxury, I felt like a queen in that bed, which was extremely comfortable too. Second stay for us at Dairy cottage . We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday with our spaniel . He loved the exercise field and daily trips to the beach . We explored Woolacombe Bay and Perranporth as well as Widemouth Bay , Black Rock and Bude .

We had a fantastic few days away cottage was very nice and everything was not to far away.. it was a challenge with the roads which was all sat naved as you could easily got lost but totally enjoyed it & everyone we met on the farm and on our travels made us so welcome deffo go back..keep up the good work sara & colin from Daz, Caz & pups (Lille & Read moreDaisy) xx Hide

A beautiful cottage on beautiful grounds. Great for those with dogs. There's a field you can take them to and just let them run free. Nice location to reach different parts of Devon / Cornwall. Clean and easy entrance / exit. Would recommend

Lovely cottage to stay in. Very comfortable. Fabulous rural location which we loved. The enclosed dog exercise field was the main reason we booked this cottage. Would definitely book again.

Excellent, we wanted for nothing. Everything required for our self catering break was supplied in the cottage. We enjoyed a lovely peaceful holiday in the beautiful cottage with the addition of a large secure field to exercise our dog. Thanks Steve T

We stayed at Dairy Cottage for two weeks. It is a lovely cottage, well equipped, comfortable and in a very quiet, peaceful location. The owners are very warm and welcoming and the goodies they left us and our doggie pals were very well received. The running field for the dogs was much appreciated. We had the best time!!! Thank you so much. The field for the dogs was just such a blessing and wonderful to see them running everyday. Really thoughtful touches with: milk, biscuits, tea, coffee, dog bowls, dog treats and poo bags, also logs for the fire. The cottage was so comfortable and the log fire was fantastic on the cooler nights. Beautiful cottage in a lovely location . We had a lovely time . We went to Bude , Boscastle , Padstow , Rock , Launceston ,and Holsworthy . We know the area well and it was nice to be back after Lockdown etc

We had a great stay at Dairy Cottage , lovely and spacious for the two of us and our dog . The cottage is very well equipped , warm and inviting . The owners are friendly and helpful and provided throws and towels for our dog to enjoy his stay too . There is a large fully enclosed field for dogs to run free . Wonderfully quiet location, dogs very welcome and so friendly. The night sky without light pollution has to be seen. The cottage was very well equipped- everything we wanted and needed when cooking meals (even a sieve to drain the pasta!) and a cafetire. The furniture is comfortable and the bed is perfect! There is a washing machine and a dishwasher (although we didnt use it) and lovely toiletries left for us and the dog as well.

Hosts very nice and welcoming. Cottage internally very nice. However, let down by outdoor courtyard and pond side seating area which we did not think either photographs or description represented. The field set aside for dogs was ideal.

The accommodation is located in a very peaceful and remote location and great if you have a dog as a field is available for a free run. Even though it was at a remote location Bude and the North Cornwall/Devon coastline are within easy reach as is Okehampton and the Lydford Gorge.
