This property is set in the ancient farming hamlet of Roseweek and is surrounded by the owners’ 100-acre farm. It is in a rural but not isolated position and offers commanding views over an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with excellent walking, cycling and golf nearby. Other fabulous places just a short drive away are Truro and its wonderful cathedral as well as Fowey. You can also visit the local shops and the local pub, which are only 2 miles away. St Austell railway station is less than 3 miles away, which is ideal for exploring the county by train if you wish. You are also spoilt for beaches nearby - Porthpean, Charlestown, Pentewan to name a few.

Enter the beautiful barn and head into the lounge, which has a wood burner and patio doors opening out onto the garden. The room is traditionally decorated with plenty of seating, WiFi ,and TV - this really is a spacious and well-lit spot to watch your favourite programmes and relax. Continue into the well-equipped kitchen/dining room, which is complete with all your basic needs including electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. It’s a good-sized kitchen for preparing your lunch for the day ahead. This cottage was well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable, it had its own garden and a nice patio to eat when the sun shined. Near to lots of places to visit, Lanhydrock (National Trust), Fowey nice boat trip, Mevigissy really good, Charleston, and Falmouth.

Cowslip was everything I hoped, really clean and cosy. It's in a beautiful location, which makes a great base for both coast and countryside walks. Cowslip is a haven of peace and tranquility to return to from a great day explorin. The country lane to access was so quiet, I only met two cars all week. The private rear garden was a real treat, full Read moreof birds and great for alfresco suppers. I didn't meet the owners (they were away) but they sent a lovely 'thank you for staying' card, so thoughtful. Hide
