Everything - the accommodation and the location - was lovely. There are quite a few internal steps which might be a problem for someone with mobility issues. An absolute gem in the North Yorkshire Moors. We stayed with our two daughters (5 & 1) so we didn't necessarily do many walks etc as recommended on reviews previous to ours, but the cottage itself was so idyllic that we really didn't feel the need to go anywhere. We had a wonderful stay at Clover Cottage. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The velux window in the bedroom that opens right up is a lovely spot to star gaze from. The village is a short walk away with a delightful village shop and 3 good pubs. All of which we used. A perfect base to explore North Yorkshire.
