This cottage is amazing! Hand built with care and love. I felt I could live here easily. I loved the spiral staircase and twisted wood handrail. The owner also provided us with a dog crate which was very kind. The patio is a sun trap. It's a very peaceful, homely cottage and I totally recommend it but would say you do need a car. Beautiful and peaceful cob cottage. Everything worked well and the bed is very comfortable. In May the surrounding countryside was covered in wild flowers. Highly recommended.

Char Cider Barn was in a very quiet location, was very clean with good covid measures in place. However we feel that some upgrades are required ( kitchen equipment and outside space) to represent good value for money.

Although conveniently located there was no information at the cottage on local attractions. Cooking facilities were very limited. The cottage would benefit from some updating to the cooking facilities, WiFi, TV, lighting and general comfort.

Char Cider Barn was a lovely property, well furnished tastefully and comfortable. Upstairs was very spacious and the bathrooms were ideal - a good shower and nice bath. It was delightfully remote and we felt very relaxed and away from it all. Hilary, the owner was friendly and helpful. We would love to return in the future.
