Stunning place, extremely clean, attention to detail was superb, box of chocs and teddy for my son on arrival, fire built up ready to use, robes and slippers, it's the small things that make this place stand out from the rest. Stunning, high specification renovation. We had a very restful, peaceful break at Briars Inn and enjoyed every moment. The animals were an added bonus, they entertained us for hours. We had a great week. The cottage was very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. The hosts were lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The pigs and sheep were an added bonus, the boys enjoyed feeding them. Excellent hot tub too. Lots to do in the area too. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing holiday at Briars Barn. It was so cozy and comfortable and our hosts could not have been more helpful and thoughtful. We loved feeding the pigs and sheep and it was wonderful relaxing in the hot tub looking at the lovely view. The barn was perfectly located for exploring the Peak District and we cant wait to come back!

First class. Spacious for 2 couples. Peaceful location. Great for walking locally and further afield in the dales. Paul and Tracey obviously put great thought into the build, furnishings and fittings which are of superb quality. They are so friendly, it really was like visiting friends. Tracy and Paul are the best hosts one could ask for. The place is great for family with young child like us. Very close to a lot of attractions that a toddler and parents can enjoy together. We were fortunate to have very good weather, and were able to have breakfast in the sun at the front, and return to the sun at the back for our post walk drinks.
