Across the yard, walks can be taken through the owner’s land, where there are beautiful views across open countryside to a lake and bluebell woods in season.

We loved our time in this perfect cottage. So lucky to be there in May to see the unusual wild flowers, particularly round the lake and on road verges, including Ancient Woodland Indicator species. A beautiful unspoiled part of the country.

My wife and I loved the property. Owners, just across the drive were lovely people and a fount of local knowledge. Wonderfully isolated. Unfortunately we chose a time with total cloud cover, but I imagine that with no street lighting, the view of the Stars would be wonderful. Drop in to the village hall, we did, and had a cracking evening.

A great place!! Comfortable, well appointed, beautifully decorated, dog friendly cottage in a fantastically tranquil location. It was just what we needed for a few days break.
