Excellent standard with outstanding aspects, particularly the view from the property across from Dumfries to the sea. There are some ongoing improvements to the property however the owners were very honest about them and they did not impact our stay. I would highly recommend this property.

What can I say about this cottage, but amazing. The cottage is very clean, the kitchen is modern, a small oven and a large oven, a big hob, all the pots and pans you in, a big panel with plates, cups, glasses etc. The heating and hot water is excellent. The Bathroom is modern, a bath and a separate shower. The sitting room is fantastic, a 3 seater Read moresofa, 2 seater sofa and a chair ( all electric) big TV. The bed linen and towels are very good quality too. Go down to the steam boat Inn very good. Hide

One of the best weve stayed out! Beautiful place to stay, the owners have thought of everything you will need throughout your stay. It was immaculately clean. Beautiful garden with a stunning view especially at sunrise! Very central to many locations however still very quiet! Would definitely recommend to stay here!

The cottage was excellent. It was spotless and the kitchen was very well equipped. The lounge area was very comfortable with fantastic countryside views. We were delighted the owners had left milk, tea, coffee and biscuits for us and biscuits and towels for our dog! It was a good location for exploring the local area.

We had a lovely stay at this comfortable, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean cottage. Its set in a nice location and made a great base for exploring the surrounding area. The secure garden was a real bonus especially important when you have dogs who can be little escape artists! Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful week at Joness. It was spacious and beautifully decorated, well equipped and the beds and living room furniture were very comfortable. (Best of any cottage we've stayed in). We enjoyed the views over surrounding countryside from the lovely patio, there were even binoculars to watch the wildlife -sheep, House Martins, Buzzard and Read morea Red Kite. to name a few! The location makes it very easy to explore the local area and access local facilities. Great cottage, thank you. Hide
