A pretty rural location close to the unspoilt coast of Luce Bay in the Machars of Galloway. From the coast on a clear day there are views over to the Isle of Man and Mull of Galloway. The beaches offer sandy and rocky coves for you to explore or enjoy with your four-legged friend. Minke whales, turtles, seabirds, seals and dolphins have all been seen in the bay. The Bladnoch Distillery and Visitor Centre is 8 miles away where tours can be arranged or the Gin Crafty distillery at Newton Stewart is 15 miles away. There are some great golf courses, walks and mountain bike trails in the local area.

As you walk into the property you will find a handy porch for you to store your coats and muddy boots. From the lobby you will find yourself in the hallway, the bright and spacious lounge is off to your left, there are recliners for you to kick back and relax in while reading a good book or watching a classic movie on the TV/DVD with Sky TV. There is also a dining area to the rear of the lounge where you can gather as a family to catch up on the day’s events. Next door is the kitchen which is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and fridge with ice compartment. Across the hallway there is an accessible bathroom which has a wet room with shower and WC. Along the corridor there are three spacious double bedrooms all individually styled.

Lovely comfortable, well equipped cottage. The enclosed garden was a big plus for our dogs to run around having fun, enjoying all the sniffs. Great cottage base for touring the surrounding area.

A home away from home in a beautiful rural setting. The kitchen has everything you need, there is plenty to keep children entertained on a rainy day and the hot tub is all its talked up to be. Helen and Alex were helpful and accommodating, but the cottage is private and removed from the farm so it feels like your own home. Give yourself enough timeRead more to explore the beaches and walks in the area. Hide

Great place. Beautiful area, spacious property. We felt that there was so much space inside and out. The property had a lovely feel to it. We loved the fabulous hot tub and enjoyed having the farm animals so close. Hosts were very friendly and gave us a great tour of the farm and a chance to meet the animals close up.
