This wonderful property is positioned just 2 miles from the small city of Brechin and is close to the Angus coastline. It’s ideal for golfers, with several local and links courses nearby (Kirriemuir, Forfar, Rosemount, and Montrose within 19 miles) and the championship course at Carnoustie (17 miles) within range. The picturesque coastal town of Broughty Ferry (24 miles), as well as the city of Dundee (29.5 miles), are only a drive away and have excellent shopping and leisure facilities, as well as many tourist attractions. This includes the Victoria and Albert Museum and RRS Discovery in Dundee. For nature enthusiasts, visit the nearby Montrose Basin Nature Reserve, the home of over 80,000 migratory birds, or Kingennie Fishings (17 miles), which has some of Scotland's most famous trout fishing pools. An abundance of walking routes, scenic beaches and Brechin Castle Centre with its magical fairy trail, go karting, sledge runs are certain to keep the children busy!

Entering the farmhouse through the backdoor, you arrive at a spacious cloak area to kick off your shoes or wellies. There is a large, family bathroom to the left, complete with a full-size Victorian bath, and a modern, spacious kitchen - the perfect place to prepare delicious home-cooked meals. The kitchen leads back into a generously sized utility room equipped with all the necessary conveniences. Slide back the kitchen double doors to discover a formal dining room, creating an open-plan living area which extends through to the sunroom. The dining room comfortably seats eight people and is complete with an open fire, offering a luxurious dining experience during those cooler evenings. Spend time together in the sunroom watching movies on the Smart TV or simply soaking up the Angus views with a book. Across the hallway is a spacious lounge area complete with a wood burner, a delightful area to gather for pre-dinner aperitifs or a late evening dram. Upstairs, you will find four beautiful bedrooms, including a master with an en-suite WC and basin, and fantastic views stretching to nearby Montrose. The first floor is complete with an upstairs shower room with WC.

Venturing outside, you will find a beautiful, enclosed garden with an extensive lawn area over two levels and a patio with garden seating, perfect for al fresco dining and drinks with friends and family.

We had a fantastic few days at East Drums over new year. The house beautifully presented and well-equipped, and there is plenty of space for everyone to lounge and dine. Would definitely return, thank you!

The house was absolutely ideal for our stay. We loved it. It was warm, spacious and welcoming and so well-equipped. Everything we could possibly need was provided. The sun room was especially popular. So much thought and preparation has been put in by the lovely, friendly owner. The welcome pack was very much appreciated. We were provided with compRead morerehensive instructions for kitchen appliances and heating. There were books, magazines, games, nothing was forgotten. Lovely views. Perfect! Hide

East Drums farmhouse and garden has the wow factor. Spacious and spotless accommodation, beautifully furnished with very comfortable beds. All the equipment you can dream of for a holiday spent entertaining or just relaxing, e.g. the hostess trolley was fab! Ideal for dogs, the large garden is mostly laid to lawn and fully enclosed garden.

East Drums Farmhouse is nothing but a pure delight. Located in a beautiful spot, the farmhouse offers first class accommodation with every amenity you could wish for.
