Nestled on the outskirts of the bustling market town of Holsworthy, this home from home is bound to provide a peaceful and picturesque location to escape for your next holiday. Holsworthy itself is a delightful town, with a bustling weekly market and a range of independent shops and cafes to enjoy. The charming market town is surrounded by rolling green hills, tranquil countryside and a huge range of quint rural villages and hamlets. The pretty Cornish seaside town of Bude is only 10 miles away with its vast sandy beaches, water sports including surfing, and a plethora of shops and independent cafes, pubs and restaurants that make this a great day out. Walking enthusiasts will love the rugged coastline walks and a visit to Hartland Quay offers stunning walks, 22 miles away. North Devon attractions for families such as the adventure parks, The Milky Way  (16 miles) and The Big sheep (19 miles) are situated on the North Devon coast and the North Devon Aqua Wake park (16 miles) If you wish to go a little further afield the North Devon beaches of Croyde and Woolacombe and the pretty Cornish villages of Port Isaac and Tintagel are all within a 40 mile drive of the property.

Stepping into this wonderfully presented barn conversion you will soon notice the chic upside down design with a lovely blend of original exposed beams and contemporary style featured throughout the home. The two bedrooms are both situated on the lower floor in which you enter, the master bedroom provides a king-size bed, whilst the second bedroom holds a super-king-bed (which can be made in to twin beds on request). Both bedrooms possess accompanying en-suites and plenty of clothing storage. Heading up the stairway will bring you up to the light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the lounge is well furnished with two comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and of course a warming wood burner to truly relax after a day of adventures across North Devon. The kitchen is well-equipped providing all the appliances needed for a stress-free stay, whilst there is also ample seating for all guests across the dining table, allowing you to wine, dine and share your favourite moments of the holiday.

From the living space you can make your way out onto the balcony, where you could even enjoy a spot of al-fresco dining whilst taking in the views across the rolling countryside. Alternatively make your way down and out onto the rear garden, where guests have a large open patio and lawn, complete with further outdoor seating and swing set, which is free for children to enjoy. Adjacent to the patio area, there is also a fully enclosed large secure paddock area for guests to exercise their four legged friends off the lead.

We had a lovely week at Lower Chasty Barn, such a relaxing setting looking over tranquil sheep fields towards the river. Peter and Bridget could not have been more accommodating, tasty homemade treats were a fab welcome. Easy to find in a great location. Plenty of parking. The hosts were perfect providing a lovely welcome gift. Lower Chasty Barn was very comfortable and set in a beautiful location overlooking the valley on Peter and Bridgets small sheep farm. Just minutes from Holsworthy and 20/25minutes to Bude and Widemouth Bay it was a great location for us and our dog. As other people have commented, Peter and Bridget are wonderful hosts, very friendly and helpful. The barn is beautiful and the balcony area has splendid views. Scones and wine were there for us on the table along with fresh flowers for when we arrived. Me and my friends plus the dog were all made very welcome on arrival when the owners introduced themselves. The week was brilliant, sunny weather every day which enabled us to have a pimms (or 2) on the balcony late afternoon watching Peter tend to the sheep. Lovely walks every day, with great views. Bridget and Peter were warm and welcoming on our arrival . They had kept us updated the day before on arrival times and keys. We had a lovely stay at Lower Chasty, Peter and Bridget were extremely friendly and accommodating. The barn is very spacious and comfortable and has everything youd need. Holsworthy centre and Waitrose are just about a 1km walk away. We drove to Sandymouth beach most days and had some great walks with our dogs. We had a fantastic stay! The cottage was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. A good property with beautiful outlook and balcony. Clean and nicely decorated. In a good position out in the sticks but easy access to main roads in all directions. Our favourite beach was Sandymouth. . Good for NT parking and dog friendly. Peter and Bridget were very helpful and welcoming.

We loved our stay at the barn - so peaceful and dark at night. Would be great for stargazing although the moon was too bright when we were there. Excellent property, thoughtfully renovated with bedrooms downstairs and open plan living area with balcony to maximise the amazing views. Spacious and comfortable living room and kitchen with plenty of utensils. Scones and wine nice touch. Plenty of space to walk our dog around the farm -accompanied by the lovely Wally! Visited Bude (about 20 mins)Read more, Tintagel, Boscastle, Tamar lakes and Morwenstow. Would highly recommend and love to revisit. Just be mindful when driving in -the road is bumpy. Hide
