This cottage is at the end of a very badly potholed road. To be absolutely fair to the owners of Cimwch Cottage, it is not their fault. Its a public road and the local councils responsibility to repair it but sadly these days councils dont have the money for small roads such as these. The cottage itself is lovely. Very compact but most things you mRead moreight need are there. The owners are very welcoming and helped us out several times. Hide

Lovely cottage perched half way up a hill so the views from the garden are beautiful. Really nice inside with everything we needed, super comfy beds for a good nights sleep. Garden super secure for our dogs who enjoyed watching the chickens through the fence. Able to relax without any noise in the garden and the sun rise was worth getting up at 5:3Read more0am to see. Great for walking, a nice 7.5 miles circular walk on your doorstep and a trip to Abergele beach and Gwrych Castle a must. Loved it . Hide

If you like peace and quiet relaxing in a hotub watching the sky then this is for you. View over to the north coast with lights in the distance is the only light other than surroundings buildings. Bumpy road so be prepare for usual potholes. But when SatNav says your there add an extra 1/2mile but just follow the directions.k

We had a great time and lovely stay at the cottage. The location is wonderful for us who loves countryside and nature. The cottage is quite rustic and cold but we loved it (we live in a new house with very well-insulated, passive house). Anyway, it was a great experience for us to stay in the cottage like that and we enjoyed it. Furthermore, the loRead morecation was perfect for our dogs and they loved walking on the hill. Last but not least, we love "Freddie", the parrot and wish he happy and healthy. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, peace & quiet was great. Weather was good, always a bonus, hot tub was a great extra, once you get the hang of it. Although there are chickens on the farm, very quiet & peaceful. Go prepared for all weather's, as if going on long walks, don't get caught out on the hills. The road up towards the cottage, a littleRead more tricky in places and narrow, just be aware of vehicles coming in opposite direction. The coal fire was another bonus, lovely for the chilly nights Hide
