Situated on the edge of the pretty village of Llanfair Caereinon with village shop, pub, fishing and the steam trains on the Welshpool & Llanfair Light Railway. The ancient market towns of Welshpool, Newtown and Oswestry are also nearby and offer a selection of shops, restaurants, a cinema and attractions, not forgetting National Trust’s Powys Castle and Gardens, Chirk and Erddig close by. Walkers, cyclists and water lovers alike can stride, ride or drive along Montgomery Canal, Bala Lake and Lake Vyrnwy or head up into the majestic mountains and paths across Snowdonia National Park. A great location to experience culture and countryside pursuits in Mid Wales and its Shropshire borders, a perfect spot to enjoy an active or relaxing holiday as a family or for a romantic break.

This luxury farmhouse located at the head of the farm is full of period features and contemporary twists throughout. The lovely hall has plenty of space for your walking boots and coats, with a convenient separate ground floor WC and washing machine, the hall leads into the heart of the house. Natural light floods into the spacious kitchen/diner with exposed beams, feature fireplace with wood burner, TV, comfy chairs and the dining table taking centre stage near the patio doors, leading to the hot tub. If you decide to eat in and rustle a meal with purchases from nearby local producers, the kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. After dinner, retire to the snug with exposed beams, feature fireplace and comfortable sofas or walk through to the relaxed lounge with exposed beams, feature fireplace, comfortable sofas and a Smart TV. Back into the entrance hall with tiled floor and feature glass door, head upstairs to the first floor and choose from one of the three bedrooms, one king-size, one double with stylish en-suite shower room and WC or the spacious twin. All the bedrooms have been designed for a good night’s sleep with lovely linen and wonderful views to wake up to. Step leads down to spacious family bathroom with bath, shower and WC, enjoy a leisurely bath or shower in this stylish room.

Outside relax in the hot tub in the enclosed patio area with garden furniture, leading from the dining area. To the front of the house is a paved area with wrought iron railings leading to the pretty enclosed half-acre garden with lawn, fire pit, charcoal BBQ, table and chairs, the perfect spot to enjoy al fresco dining whilst embracing the wonderful views from sunrise to sunset. You are welcome to explore the footpaths on the 50 acre farm with sheep and cattle. There is ample private off-road parking at the property. Lockable bike and canoe store are also available.

What a fabulous cottage on a working farm loved our neighbours 'The Cowboys'. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable, peacful and spacious cottage with all the amenities we needed. The dogs loved it the garden is secure and dog friendly. The hot tub was amazing lovely and clean and maintained through out our stay. We would definately book thos cottaRead morege again. Hide

The cottage is in the middle of the farm yard with the cow barn just opposite. The farmhouse is lovely. Big kitchen/diner which is very well equipped. All rooms very well presented and clean. The double room is at the top of the stairs but just be aware that it opens on to the second stair down. The hot tub is large and the view from the top of tRead morehe garden is fab! Lovely cottage with everything you need. Cattle shed is in close proximity to the cottage but wasnt a problem. Very peaceful location and not too far from decent pubs and local shops.

A lovely place to stay . Very quiet and relaxing . We found this accommodation had everything we need to make for a pleasent four night break. The owners are on hand if needed. The hot tub was lovely and kept spotlessly clean and well maintained.

We stayed in this lovely cottage over New Year. It was great for 3 couples and 4 dogs. Whole place was comfortable and clean, very well equipped in a lovely rural location. Nikki the owner left us a cake on arrival and was easy to contact if needed. Dog owners need to know that dogs are only allowed downstairs and are restricted by a stair gate. The house sits in a beautiful location. It is beautifully decorated but is very homely and has a lovely kitchen/diner which we spent all our time in. What an idyllic cottage in a very quiet location with bulls and birds literally being our only neighbours and plenty of parking for our 3 cars. There was plenty of space for 6 adults and 2 dogs and the garden was very large and secure for our dogs. The hot tub was bliss and loads of room for us 6 adults. The location is excellent, with easy access to nearby villages like Llanfair Caereinion and Welshpool for essentials. Lovely well-equipped farmhouse well placed to explore the less well known areas of Powys & Glyndwrs Way. Really comfortable, particularly the snug, and ideal for a family getaway. The hot tub was a bonus after a long day walking and the cows so sweet and inquisitive. Great stay - thank you so much.

Very comfortable accommodation , generously furnished with all appliances . Beautiful cottage in a very pretty part of the world. The hotel tub was lovely. The fencing is great for smaller dogs, but we had to watch like a hawk with our larger dogs because there are a few spots they could have got out, we're used to that and brought long lines with us, but while the gardens are definitely secure for small/medium dogs, it's Read morejust something for owners of large/athletic dogs to be aware of so they can take similar precautions. Beautiful cottage in peaceful location - we were looking up at the stars from the hot tub and realised we couldn't hear a single thing, the perfect place to get away from it all. The cottage is warm, luxurious and perfect for our family. Would highly recommend.
