Brilliant place to stay on a hillside not far from Bala and ideally situated for visiting attractions in North and Mid Wales. Glorious views from the cottages and a friendly welcome from the owner when I arrived for my (second) annual visit and I plan to return again.

Lovely place to stay. Home from home. Sue was very welcoming and approachable. Views were awesome and so peaceful. Individual gated patio areas to each property were an added bonus. Perfect base for visiting Snowdonia itself and beyond. We will definitely recommend and stay again in the near future.

A wonderful modern, bright barn conversion set within glorious Welsh countryside with walks from the door. Everything in the cottage was new, clean, and worked well and I really felt at home. Cottage clean and some walks on site. Owner friendly and a quiet location. Handy for day trips out but locally very few facilities as the nearest pub is a drive away unless you walk on the road.

Bright and pleasant place to stay. Convenient for local walks and for watersports on lake Bala. Be aware that this area is less touristy than snowdonia, which makes it less busy but also the waymarked walks can be overgrown. Avoid the tiny lanes.

The accommodation was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and very comfortable. Perfect as a base to explore the local area. Great value too! The outdoor space was a bit of a disappointment in that it is small, not private and overlooks the car park but that was the only negative.

We have just had a fantastic few days at Sue's place. There are a few adjoining barns that are all rented out with plenty of parking and fantastic views. We took our two dogs and most of the neighbours had dogs too. There are walks on the farm and plenty more in the surrounding countryside. Bala village / lake is a 5/7 minute drive. There are lots Read moreof places to eat in the village, but we liked Plas Yn Dre. The cottage itself was well equipped and Sue was lovely. Hide
