This property enjoys an idyllic location in the small hamlet of Llaithddu. Eateries and shops can be found in nearby Newtown (10 miles) and Llanidloes (16 miles). Explore the majestic Welsh countryside and rolling Shropshire hills full of footpaths and cycle routes. Enjoy walking, cycling, fishing, horse riding, wildlife watching, photography, arts, crafts, music, and events. There is lots to see and do within a 20-mile radius: the Victorian spa town Llandrindod Wells with 30 natural springs, picturesque lake, pavilion, renowned golf club, and a range of events, shops, and eateries; Rhayader (where the purpose-built bike track 'Pump Track Wales' is located); Knighton; the Elan Valley; Clywedog Reservoir; and the Red Kites Feeding Station to name but a few of the attractions on offer.

As you walk into this fabulous detached barn, you will no doubt stop and admire the stunning views before you open the door. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is beautifully designed with socialising in mind. Straight ahead is the well-equipped kitchen, perfectly appointed to help you whip up tasty holiday treats, with an electric Range oven and hob, microwave and fridge/freezer. The separate utility has a washing machine, dishwasher, and separate WC. When the meal is ready, gather around the large table and plan your holiday activities. After dinner head into the lounge area and relax on the comfortable sofas, watch your favourites on the Smart TV, and for cosy nights in, put on the electric wood burner effect fire. Upstairs you will find four fabulous bedrooms, all with Smart TVs: a king-size with an en-suite bathroom with bath and WC, two king-size bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms and WC's, and finally a twin room with an en-suite shower room and WC. All have soft bed linen and have been designed for a good night’s sleep. This house is full of thoughtful little extras to enhance your stay, with beautiful views to wake up to every day. Relax in the hot tub on the paved area and embrace the rolling countryside and wildlife, this is the perfect spot to unwind after a day exploring.

The enclosed garden is laid to lawn with natural hedges, shrubs, and trees. Enjoy al fresco dining on the patio with BBQ, table, and chairs. If you are keen on cycling, there is a bicycle rack with wash down facilities, there is also ample parking at the property.

The location of the property was perfect, very peaceful with great views. Very spacious and well equipped with plenty of room for our family of 5. We were very fortunate to have great weather which meant the garden, BBQ and hot tub were used frequently and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Very comfortable beds and great en suites with good showers. The property is beautiful, it has everything you could think of needing from airfryer to baby gates and everything else in between! We loved the huge outdoor space and the hot tub was a massive treat! The only reason I have given 4 stars for the location was because for us it was a bit further from attractions than we anticipated (i think we lookedRead more at the distance for the journeys rather than the time) if you are looking for rolling hills and beautiful countryside then this is the place for you! What a wonderful week we have had. Everything was perfect for a stay with family & friends. The barn itself is so well equipped, the outside space is exceptional, enclosed so safe for dogs to roam. We loved the open plan space downstairs and found the upstairs perfect for a group of adults staying with every room having its own en-suite. Amazing place, well equipped. The hot tub is a real bonus as its very large. Garden is huge and secure, if you have a dog you dont need to worry about it escaping. Lots of games to play inside and out. Very remote location, so if you want shops you have to travel but the views are brilliant. We loved our stay.

Beautiful spacious converted barn, with modern interior design. Very clean. Hosts on hand and happy to help. Comfy beds and all bedrooms have an en-suite. Note that holiday cottages states that the postcode will take you to the barn via the sat nav however you will need to continue driving about half a mile to reach the barn. No mattress with traveRead morel cot provided however this wasnt an issue for us as we had taken our own but be aware of this. Note there is no shop or pub within walking distance, Hide

Blue Lins River Barn was the ultimate get away cottage. There was a very generous welcome pack waiting in the spotlessly clean large open plan accommodation. There was an huge enclosed garden at the back from where we could watch the setting sun. All the adults and children had a lovely time,. Beautiful house with stunning hot tub plenty of walks for man and dog and such freedom for children we took collapsible goal cricket etc. Newtown is a lovely place everything you needed there and a beautiful park with lots there for children.
