The bungalow is spacious and very well located for walks and places of interest. The living room is at the front, so the fine views of Pen-y-Fan are only seen from the sun room and kitchen, we were blessed with good weather so spent most of our time in the sun room anyway. For EV drivers, we successfully used chargers at the Brecon National Park ViRead moresitor Centre whilst doing a great 7 mile walk up to Cefn Llechid and at Tretower Castle. The Roman Mine at Dolaucothi and Dinefwr well worth a visit. Hide

This is a lovely, well equipped bungalow in a beautiful isolated location. From the windows at the front there is a clear view across a valley with, at the time of our stay, sheep in the fields. From the windows at the back there is a clear view of Pen y Fan and Corn Du.. We were very comfortable in the cottage, and made full use of the facilities,Read more which include a fully equipped kitchen and utility room and a sun lounge. The large smart TV and full Sky subscription were great in the evenings. Hide

We returned for a second stay at Beacons Field to spend another Christmas here with our family at this lovely welcoming house. I love this place, equipped with everything you need for your stay. I cooked a full Christmas dinner rounded off by a relaxing evening spent in front of the log burner with an abundance of logs in the basket. The Christmas Read moretree was up, a lovely touch. We had morning coffee in the conservatory whilst watching the mist lift over the mountains. I expect well be back again! Hide

The place is very good as a base to go hiking in the Beacons. The house in itself is very clean and comfortable, very well equipped overall. We just missed some small things but this is menial, we spend 2 marvelous weeks in there and will probably come back!
